We have One Team which is made up of our Leadership Team, Elders and Directors. Together under God they love and lead Real Life Church.
Stuart leads Real Life Church with his wife Melanie. He is our lead elder and is responsible for the vision of the church and the preaching. He has a deep love for the word of God and is an excellent Bible teacher; passionate about seeing people grow in their relationship with Jesus. He is Dad of two boys and he loves running, reading a good book and anything to do with American Football.
Melanie leads Real Life Church with her husband, Stuart. She leads the Leadership Team with Stuart and she looks after our Real Life Kids and Youth and Good to our Community. She loves Jesus above all else and is a Prophet who is passionate about helping people meet Jesus. She and Stuart have two boys and she loves the outdoors with family and friends, splashing around in water and a good hot chocolate!
Jeremy is one of our elders and is part of the Leadership Team at Real Life. He has a heart for the scriptures and is a gifted preacher. He oversees Real Life Men, which suits him perfectly because he gets to combine his love of Jesus and outdoor adventuring. Although originally from South Africa, Jeremy lives in Sutton with his wife, Becky and his three kids. He loves surfing, mountains, travel and good wine!
Matt is one of our elders and is part of the Leadership Team at Real Life. He oversees Life Groups with his wife, Phil, and works with our Good to our Community projects. He is a gifted musician and uses these skills as one of our Worship Leaders. Matt has two kids and loves playing music and singing, exploring the great outdoors, cooking delicious food and a good single malt!
Phil is part of the Leadership Team and leads our Worship Team and has a real heart to see God’s people enter into His presence and be released in worship. She oversees Life Groups with her husband, Matt, and looks after the Look and Feel of our church where she basically gets to make things look pretty! She has two kids and loves Cornish beaches, good food and wine and all things Christmas.
Ben is part of the Leadership Team and has a huge heart for the nations and the young. You will often see Ben giving us one of his trademark welcomes in church - he is always bringing the fun! He is also a gifted Real Life Kids Leader and has two children with his wife, Charlotte. He loves running, exploring new places, playing football and learning about new technologies.
Charlotte is part of the Leadership Team and one of our Directors. She has a heart for the Bible and to see the people of God grow in their knowledge and love of the scriptures and she loves bring order out of chaos! She is a Life Group Overseer, teaches on both our Youth and Messy teams and oversees our Real Life School. Charlotte and her husband Ben have two kids. She loves travelling, cooking and baking and being organised, particularly if it involves pretty stationery and an Excel spreadsheet.
Andrew is one of our Directors. He is passionate about Jesus and His church. He leads our Safeguarding Team, serves on a Kids Team and together with his wife Becca he Oversees a Life Group or two! Andrew and Becca have two kids. Andrew loves sculling, following endurance sports car racing, being outdoors and anything on rivers.
Aaron is one of our Directors. He loves the Bible, listening to Jesus and seeks to help build God’s church. He is part of Kids Team and together with his wife Jiji he leads a Life Group. Aaron and Jiji have two kids. Aaron loves nature walks and climbs, trying different kinds of cuisine, and a bit of DIY.
